A new beginning

Welcome to this blog first post!

I'm so excited to bring you all on this journey with me. I have been thinking about this for months and finally the day is here! Today is my 30th birthday and I thought the best way to celebrate it was to do something nice for myself. And that something nice is a new Starstable Online account, Synne Starborn, and this blog. I love Starstable and I love writing, so why not?

I have been playing SSO since 2012 with my main account Cecilia Gladefield. I was 19 and barely an adult back then when I first started playing. Crazy how fast time flies. I'm amazed that Starstable has been such a huge and important part of my life for so long.

The game has changed a lot over the years so I am sure it will feel a bit weird to experience all the changes. But I am far more excited over this whole new adventure then feeling sad over the nostalgia and old times that I miss.

The new character I created are called Synne Starborn and her starterhorse is called Daisy. I was a bit cheesy and looked over different name origins and meanings when picking out names. I went with Synne since it means "gift of the sun". I thought it was fitting since I wanted her to be connected with Aideen, the Goddess of Jorvik. The Surname, Starborn, is also to connect with Aideen and my love for Lovecraftian stories. I love cosmic horror and fantasy so I thought "born of the stars" sounded cool. Her horses name Daisy stands for "a new begining". The Daisy flower in Norse mythology represents love, beauty and new begginnings. Fitting considering this whole new journey.
